Looking for some crisps to take on a camping trip, I grabbed a multi-pack of the Walkers Taste the Decades crisps, which is a 6 pack and at the time they cost me just £1, so I didn’t mind trying them. I’ve always loved Walkers crisps, although I have found they’re “not as good as they used to be”, but maybe that’s just nostalgia for you… so I thought I’d quickly add a Walkers Taste the Decades Crisps review 🙂
There are two sets of these crisps – covering six decades Walkers have tried to pick a flavour that represents a whole decade. The bag I grabbed contained six 25 gram packs representing the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. You get two bags of each flavour in the multi-pack and these were:
- 1950s: Coronation Chicken crisps
- 1960s: Roast Lamb & Mint crisps
- 1970s: Cheese Fondue crisps
Now, theoretically I should have loved these crisps as all three flavours are right up there in my “Best flavour of crisps” choices…. so I was really looking forward to them!
Walkers Taste the Decades Crisps Review:
I was actually …. very disappointed. The flavours weren’t as I’d imagined them to be and certainly not very good at all. I’ll not be buying them again… that’s for sure!
So that’s it – a flying review of these crisps, which should be consigned to the decades from whence they came.
Nice idea Walkers – but you missed the mark! I’ll be sticking with Cheese and Onion, or, my absolute favourite and Xmas treat Tomato Ketchup crisps!
