Chef Simon Rimmer’s new TV programme starts later this week, with 10 episodes showing how to make easy meals from frozen food from Iceland. I’d love to shop at Iceland, but it’s not easy to get to one wherever I’ve lived, which is a shame as their food does look lovely. Maybe I should just make more effort, but I’d need to empty the freezer first!
Update: Originally aired May to July 2017, this series is running again from April 2018 on Channel 4 right before Sunday Brunch.
Below is the Simon Rimmer Eat the Week Recipes Index that I’ll put together over the weeks as the shows air on the television. It’s not going to be an easy series to watch as it does have some gaps in the dates, which tends to make me forget it’s on! I’ll also add in the recipe links to the Iceland website as they’re published. The show is at 12.30pm each day – Eat the Week programme dates:
- Episodes 1-3 on 7 May, 14 May, 21 May 2017. Then there’s a break.
- Episodes 4-6 on 4 June, 11 June, 18 June 2017. Then there’s a break.
- Episodes 7 and 8 are on 2 July and 9 July 2017. Then there’s a break.
- Episodes 9 and 10 are on 23 July and 30 July 2017.
Update: Iceland removed the recipes for this programme from their website.
